In baltimore Maryland

Reckless endangerment

Driving with a suspended license

Driving under the influence

A friend of mine was driving while drunk with his kids in the car. He crashed into a tree and his son had to go to critical care unit. They have already put made a restraining order so that he cant see his son until he is 18. How long is this guy looking at? At the least how long, the max of time and the probability?

Additional Details

Hes white, a widower the only provider for his children in Maryland. He does have a record of DUI and Driving with suspended license.

I did work for an LLC which now refuses to pay me. I was told the original principal who contracted with me was removed from the LLC and a new principal is in charge.I believe this change of principals is a taxable event in Maryland and I've verified with the State that no taxes were paid by the LLC.

I threatened the new principals with exposure to the State unless the paid me the monies due me under my original contract.

Does this threat rise to the level of extortion?

Thanks for your time.
