<description>My son and his gf were together when he bought a truck. He's not really all that business savy but he's an adult and I'm trying to allow him his lessons.

It needed some repairs so he had it at the shop while she went and registered the truck ( FOR HIM. ) She added her name to it,......as primary. Now they are ending their relationship, and he has not seen the title, and all but the tag reciept paperwork has magically disappeared. I'm thinking either she pawned it, or forged his signature to have it put in her name, since she totalled her own car.

If it is in her name now how to I prove theft by deception...its the closest description by AL statute that I've been able to find. We have the money trail, but she does too, so proving who acctually paid for it will be tough since there is no &quot;bill of sale&quot; now.....Any help would be appreciated....
